Mr. Marshall was appointed Deputy Assistant Director of the FBI’s Cyber Readiness, Outreach, and Intelligence Branch in August 2016. In this position, Mr. Marshall supports the Cyber Division’s mission to identify, pursue, and defeat cyber adversaries targeting global U.S. interests by overseeing efforts to enhance strategic partnerships and intelligence coordination.
Mr. Marshall has served in various leadership roles throughout his career in the FBI. Prior to his current position in the Cyber Division, Mr. Marshall was the Special Agent in Charge for the Louisville Division, an Inspector for the Inspection Division, Assistant Special Agent in Charge for the Dallas Division, and Supervisory Special Agent for the Cyber Division and Memphis Division. Mr. Marshall began his career in the St. Louis Division in 1997. He has also served as a Crisis Management Coordinator and Acting Chief Counsel.
Prior to his appointment with the FBI, Mr. Marshall worked for the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office in Little Rock, Arkansas. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas.
